Make sure the bottom has a “film” of the Oil for best results. Place Chopped Red onion on the bottom of the Crock Pot. Place Meat on top of onion and into crock pot
Step 2: Prep the Stew Sauce
Take French Onion Soup, Beef Broth, Steak Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce and place in Mixing bowl. Slowly, Add Corn starch into mixture and mix with either a wisk or a hand blender on a slow setting. Allow starch to blend into bowl. Pour Mixture into Crock pot
Step 3: Option on Vegetables
Place the pre-packaged vegetables into the Crock Pot.
If you have a Crock pot with a “timer”, Set the Crock Pot on a “LOW” Setting for 6 hours. You can’t over cook the stew, so don’t worry about getting home on time or overnight cooking.
If you do NOT have timer, Set Crock Pot on LOW setting and you will need a minimum of 6 hours of cooking time. If you are planning to ADD potatoes, make sure you add them at the original time so they have at least 6 hours to cook with the meat.
OPTION on Vegetables:
If you are planning on being around 3 hours BEFORE Dinner, you can place the packaged Vegetables into the crock pot 3-4 hours before serving. Some people like their vegetables more fresh than soft.
