Butterball Turkey Sliders

In this recipe, I have discovered how to cook a healthy recipe for my family without compromising flavor by using Butterball ground turkey. In three easy steps you can have the same, Quick and Simple Slider recipe done in less than 30 minutes. Give it a try.

Ingredients / Shopping List: Feeds a Family of 5

½ Cup Panko Style Bread Crumbs

½ Cup of your Favorite BBQ Sauce

1 Medium Egg

1- Package, (16 oz.) of Butterball Fresh Ground Turkey

1 – Package of King’s Hawaiian Bread Rolls or Hamburger Buns

Optional items: Lettuce, Tomato, and Cheese

Equipment: Skillet or BBQ, Mixing Bowl

Cooking Steps: Start Grill or Skillet

Generously grease grill or skillet with non-stick spray and set on MED-High temp. You want the grease to help keep the ground turkey mix from sticking. This is very lean meat so it is easy to stick because there is little to no fat content in the mixture..

Take mixing bowl and combine Breadcrumbs, BBQ sauce and egg and mix well. Add your package of fresh, Butterball Ground Turkey into the bowl and mix entire contents evenly.

Place patties on grill or skillet. If using a skillet, use lid from a stew pot to cover the patties once you place them on the skillet, (or cover the patties once you place them on the BBQ grill). Cook thoroughly, ( I like to see small ‘bubbles” of liquid on the surface of my burger to ensure the turkey is cooked all the way through)

Toast Kings Hawaiian rolls or buns and serve sliders with lettuce, tomato or cheese (optional items).
